PARADISE VALLEY
For our first surf camp activity, we suggest visiting Paradise Valley. Just a short scenic drive from Tamraght through the Atlas Mountains, Paradise Valley is a must-visit natural oasis known for its beautiful valleys, unique rock formations, and crystal-clear sapphire-blue pools.
Spend hours swimming in palm-lined pools and cascading waterfalls, and for the adventurous, enjoy several excellent cliff diving spots. It’s the perfect half-day trip during your surf camp stay.
SANDBOARDING
If the ocean waves are calm, you can still enjoy thrilling rides on the nearby Timlalin Dunes, just an hour’s drive from Wavy Days Surf Camp. This unique location, where the desert meets the Atlantic Ocean, provides perfect sandboarding conditions on vast desert dunes.
Experience the local sport of sandboarding while soaking in breathtaking sunset views over the Timlalin Dunes. You’ll be treated to traditional Moroccan mint tea and cookies to enjoy as you watch the sunset. A must-do surf camp activity near Tamraght.
COOKING CLASS
Named after the earthenware pot in which it’s cooked, the Moroccan tajine is a must-try dish when visiting Morocco. This slow-cooked meal features fresh vegetables, tender meat, and fragrant traditional spices, representing a key part of Moroccan cuisine and culture.
Join our authentic cooking class to prepare and enjoy a delicious traditional Moroccan tajine. Vegetarian options are available upon request. On demand, you can also learn to make other popular Moroccan dishes. Take home the skills to recreate this iconic Moroccan dish and enrich your culinary experience.
IMSOUANE
Located just a 1.5-hour drive from Wavy Days Surf Camp, Imsouane is one of Morocco’s most iconic surf destinations. Once a quiet fishing village, it has become world-famous as the home of Africa’s longest wave. The surf spots The Bayand Cathedral offer smooth, rolling rides that can last up to three minutes – making them perfect for both beginners and experienced surfers.

SURFSKATE
Improve your surf skills on land with our dynamic surfskate training – ideal for surfers of all levels. Whether you’re a beginner or already catching waves, this land-based session will help you refine your balance, flow, and turns with expert guidance from our instructors.
